Birdbox Årbakka

Laukhamar Fritid
Laukhamar Fritid is located at the end of a winding road on the island of Skorpo. The view of the fjord is spectacular and will make and everlasting impact. There are several apartments and rooms for rent, and a pleasant restaurant with space for up to 70 guests. The family run business offers good traditional norwegian food, including dishes with lamb from their own farm.
Overnight guests can rent a boat, and have access to a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. There are good fishing and hiking opportunities in the area.

Tysnes Sjø og Fritid
Self-service flats on the seafront in Uggdal, with amazing views of the idyllic bay. If you get hungry, the restaurant Kompasset, is right next door.
There are two public beaches in the area; one in fresh water the other one in the sea, as well as a myriad of hiking trails in the nearby Myklestad forest.

The King's watchmen's house on Solstråleøya
In the channel of Godøy lies the lush and unique island Solstråleøya. With around 20 different species of trees and winding paths that invites you to explore. The island has a very special history, with both an English nobleman, a mysterious young girl and the Norwegian royal family as the main characters. Today, the island is a popular destination for boat tourists.
East on Solstråleøya, just a few meters from the sea, you can spend the night in what used to be the King's watchmen's residence. Here there are seven beds, a kitchen and two living rooms. There are two canoes, that you can borrow for free if you rent the house. The surrounding area is fantastic for canoeing, kayaking and boat trips.

OnarTun
The OnarTun center in Onarheim on the east side of the island, has 6 motel rooms for rent.
In the same building, you will find a grocery store (Joker), a self-service fitness centre, a squash court and a small café with free coffee and a selection of soft ice cream. The center is adapted for wheelchair users, and has a customer toilet. Electric car charging and petrol is available by the car park at the front of the building.
From OnarTun, you can walk to the marina with a great diving tower. The area has a lovely view of the Onarheims fjord and the mountains of Kvinnherad. Great hiking terrain nearby.

Laukhamar Rorbuer
Laukhamar Rorbuer is located on the island of Skorpo, in the very south of Tysnes municipality. It is quiet and peaceful here, as there are no through traffic. The host has four boat houses that lie right on the sea's edge, and a cabin that has a stunning sea view, for rent.
There are boats to all the properties, and good fishing conditions. It is also a great area for hiking in the mountains nearby.
