Tysnes Fyrstove
Tysnes Fyrstove is a jewel in Våge harbour - a great sauna with room for 8-10 people. Perfect for groups of friends, stag parties, etc. You'll be sweaty and happy here, regardless of the season. The view is lovely, and the distance to the sea short, only 60 centimetres! There is a bathing jetty with a diving tower right outside the sauna.
If you book an appointment on Tysnes Fyrstove's website, the stove will be hot and ready when you arrive. Feel free to have a heartwarming meal at Mandelhuset before or after you sauna experience.
SvingenPuls
Large and well equipped gym centrally located in Våge. Here you will find, among other things, a strength studio, aerobics, spinning room and offers for personal training. Various group sessions throughout the week.
Open every day all year round for those who have a key card. Good training offers for tourists and non-residents.
BUA Tysnes
BUA is a national non-profit organization that works to ensure that children and young people have the opportunity to try more and varied activities. They do this by making it easier for you to borrow equipment for sports and outdoor activities.
Stop by BUA in Tysneshallen and borrow whatever you want. Among other things, they have two SUP boards that are ready to be used!

Golfsimulator
Regn? Ingen problem. Kaldt eller vindfullt? Ingen problem. I klubbhuset til Tysnes Golfklubb på Dalen kan du spela tørrskodd og varm på fine banar heile året.
Har du spelt golf før er det berre å bestilla tid i Golfbox. Har du ikkje spelt før, ta kontakt med Tysnes Golfklubb, så kan dei rettleia deg.
Simulatoren kan òg brukast til private arrangement eller teambuilding.
Bowling
In Tysneshallen in Gjerstad there is a bowling alley with three lanes. Open Monday and Wednesday from 18.00-21.00, and Thursday and Sunday from 18.00-20.00. It may be a good idea to book a course in advance.

Tysnes Treningssenter
Tysnes Training Centre is easily accessible in Uggdal, close to the town hall. The centre has a large and open gym as well as a good selection of gym equipment. The center has its own spinning room and offerexcersise group sessions.
The skilled and motivating instructors will help you reach your training goals.
The fitness center also offers PT (personal trainer), rehab trainer and dietary guidance.
OnarTrim
The fitness center at OnarTun has a squash court, treadmills with television, spinning bikes and a good selection of different strength equipment and weights. Children's playroom close by.

Tysnes public library
Tysnes public library is located in Tysneshallen in Gjerstad. Here you will find a great collection of children's and youth books, cartoon series, magazines and audio books as well as fiction and non-fiction for adults.
The library is "meirope". This means that patrons can also use the library outside staffed opening hours (every day from 08:00 to 22:00). You need to register to be able to use this service.
Tysnes public library takes part in Sommarles a reading campaign for childre. Visiting summer readers can of course pick up their prizes there.
